Welcome snake lovers. Thanks for taking the time to check out my site. I have been keeping snakes for 3 decades and my hobby has evolved into a business I take a lot of pride in. Snakes are awesome interesting creatures and I only work with the hardiest of species as I feel they make the best captives. I am working with many types of morphs, a few of them very uncommon in the hobby and have plenty of hets which have the 'wild type' appearance so I have something to offer for just about everybody. Kingsnakes offer a huge variety of colors and patterns and are tough as nails. They often have huge appetites and are undemanding captives. My favorite type are the Brooks, or Florida Kings. I have several adult females and hope to produce many variants this year. I also have some Amel Blotched Kings, traceable back to a gravid wild caught female. Mexican Black Kings, which are beautiful glossy black snakes and I have hets for some very special White Walled Speckled Kings. With a little luck I will produce all these types of Kings this summer. Milk snakes are very similar to Kings, however these South and Central American giants are in a class by themselves and are a joy to keep. Many North American Milks are not for beginners, babies are microscopic and hard to get feeding. Honduran babies will drive you nuts, as they're spaztic and are no fun to hold at all. However many outgrow this and turn into relaxed, easy to handle adults that are well worth the wait. The color morphs of the Hondurans are incredible, and the normal appearing hets are also extremely colorful snakes. The Hondurans are truly little jewels, some look like little plastic toys as the colors are so outragoues. This year I am hoping to produce Hypo, Anery, Ghost, and Tangerine Albinos. My proven Ghost project breeders are Dave Doherty's stock, and have produced some nice aberrant Ghosts in the past. Hoping for some more of those this year. Pits are my favorite. I would work with more of these awesome snakes but many really need large enclosures to thrive so for now I will stick with the 12 I have. For 2006 I should have many variants of San Diego Gophers which are very small for Pituophis. I have Corns bigger than these guys. However they're well mannered snakes and the Albinos are very popular. I also will be expecting Envy Stock Sonoran Gophers. These get a lot bigger but are still not large by Pit standards. This multi het line produced Hypos, Hybinos, Ghosts and Blizzards. All are really killer. My Southern Pines have produced normal blotched, normal patternless, amel blotched and amel patternless. My female is a solid 6 footer and is tame as can be. I am happy to see more people taking an interest in these. They're awesome display animals! At one time I considered selling my Corns, as they seemed to be a great beginner snake.....and that they are. However I am glad I did not sell mine as even the normal het babies still are a lot of fun to raise and the Albinos are such nice looking animals. Matter of fact I just bought a few more. The world of Corn snake morphs is ever expanding and I have some cool projects lined up for the next few years but for now I am sticking with my faves. The Creamsicles, Reverse Okeetes and crosses of the two. I have produced some screaming neon colors and crazy aberrant patterns. 2005 was the best year for me by far, and I still have some of these on the available page.....so bust out your sunglasses and check em out. Pythons, how could you not love Pythons? I always thought these were the most impressive looking snakes but many of them grow to sizes most people can not deal with. I only work with the smaller types, and encourage people to check out the Spotted Pythons as they're very similar to a mini Burmese. I have Cape York Spotteds and hope to produce them this year, which will be a first for me. I also have Womas, they're bit heavy bodied but my 3 year old female is about 6 foot long...and I do not expect her to get much bigger....and that is fine by me. I have a few Ball Pythons but do not expect them to produce til 2007. Womas and Spotteds are very interesting captives. As soon as I see some success breeding them I will be adding some similar Pythons to my collection. My goal is to sell you the perfect snake, be it either for a breeder or a pet. My promise to my customers is to be here for you long after you have purchased your snake and to help you be sure all your pets are getting everything they need to thrive in captivity. All my stock is captive born and the doors do not often open to add to this collection, as I have plenty to work with for years to come. I back every snake I sell with confidence wether your a beginner or a pro, my snakes will arrive flawless and you will be happy you did business with me. Thanks for your consideration. Tom Stevens |
